As you will see further down in the article the centre scoring was High on the day so a big thanks to all the staff who made it an enjoyable day. We had very few technician calls which was a big bonus for travelling home. They have also invited us back next season which was nice to hear.

Maintaing a very marginal lead going into the last round are Scout 10 with a new total of 456pts, Yorkshire are chasing them down and were top scores on the day adding 111pts for a new total of 455pts for the season, with Go Bowling Shipley in 3rd with a total of 415pts.

Erick Lee ( Wilsons Warriors ) had the high game of the day and was looking like he may also join the 300 club, but finished with a 276 in the end. High bowler of the day was Craig Gee ( Go Bowling Shipley ) with 228.5 over 6 games. High team game of the day was 1119 by Scout 10. Declan Simons still holds the high seasons average with 210.61 over 23 games

The secretary has been busy formulating venues for next season as some centre’s were happy to give us first option on dates. Ian will put these before you all at the AGM and hopefully give you enough time to organise players to avoid non-attendance next season.

The league rules are on the website, and this past season we have had meetings regarding the interpretation of these. If there are any points to raise or proposed ammendments, can you please get these to the league secretary as early as possible to allow him to include on the agenda.

The proposed date for the AGM is 14th July 2024 at Shipley. The date has been very difficult to arrange as May and June are full of tournaments etc. All prize money etc will be paid out in cash on that date.

The Next venue for the last round of this season is at Shipley Bowl on the 21st April 2024. The bowl should be open from 9:00 for teas, coffees and breakfast.
